The RITA – Region in transition program is an initiative of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation (PAFF), implemented by the Education for Democracy Foundation (EDF). The program aims to support democratic and systemic transitions in the countries of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia by sharing Polish expertise in these fields. Furthermore, it seeks to play a role in developing new leaders and elites capable of driving progress toward democracy, a market economy, and a vibrant civil society.

Promotion of the values ​​and the strategic course towards European integration of the Republic of Moldova is also important part of mission of INFONET Alliance.
